Looking for a line out cable for my new iPod Classic. Does anyone make one that is less expensive than this one?

I want to run the iPod into two small, powered, monitors (using a power inverter) for use in my delivery van at work.
Thanks again for all the advice

Get Ted to make you a 1/8" to 1/8" cable.

I have these for a Fiio HP amp. You'd have to adapt the 1/8 mini. Monoprice should have a cable to adapt the mini to your needs.

What is the input for the monitors? Is it a single 1/8" TRS for both monitors or a 1/8" TS for each monitor? Hit me up and I can build something nice for your needs.

I'm looking for a cable that would take the line out (not headphone out), through the docking port.

$30...

VERY COOL!! :)
Thanks for the link. That would help a lot.
I'm looking at the smallest powered monitors from Audix:
http://www.audixusa.com/docs/specs_pdf/PH3-S.pdf
These will run on 12 volt, but with a little less power output, or full power through a power inverter. (Or so I was told when I emailed the company.)
I was thinking of putting a piece of velcro low on the A-Pillers near the top of the dash, one on each side, to keep them in place on the road. Fortunately the top of the dash on my delivery van is flat and roomy. (I need something small and portable and easily set up / torn down. I can't leave it in the van overnight.)

Does your delivery van have a car stereo in it??? If its got a tape deck, you can use a cassette input thingy...
If not, I'm thinking your McGuyver solution is perfect...

No, it doesn't. Only a cheap AM / FM radio with NO aux input.
