DAT heads busted??
« on: February 10, 2006, 04:15:13 PM »
So my d7' s recording levels are dropping. Is this a case of busted heads ?
A tecnician found no faults a couple years back.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance

And here I thought this thread was trying to raise bail money.  But it would explain the lack of volume on the DATheads list.

Well I have no idea what the problem is but...
You might want to get the deck checked out again.
2 yrs. was along time ago. During the last 2 years I've had multiple DAT decks take a shit.
If the heads are bad, it'll prolly be cheaper to just buy a used deck out of the yard sale
that has a clean bill of health.
