Title: In1/In2 Zoom H4 not working?
Post by: flauta on March 13, 2008, 01:59:20 PM
Hello, i have just bought a Zoom H4.
I updated to 2.10 vers.
Internal mics works o.k.

I try to record trhu the In1 and In2 in Stereo Mode
I tested with canon connection and phantom powered mic (AKG 414, Sennheiser, Oktave mc012)
and with jack connections.

For this, i select as entry "In1/In2" instead for Mic.

Trying with jacks i plug a stereo jack in my music equipment, and then two mono jacks into in1/in2.

I hit "rec" button once to see if there is any signal entring, and nothing. I set the gain in L/M/H in both in1/ and in2 and nothing happens. I hit again to begin recording but no sound entry.

Trying with canon the same happens. I first activate phantom power supply at 48v, i plug a canon from the akg 414. I tried in both entries, in1 and in2.

I hit "rec" button once to see if there is any signal entring, and nothing. I set the gain in L/M/H in both in1/ and in2 and nothing happens. I hit again to begin recording but no sound entry.
Only a noise that i suppose is generated by the electric supplied to the connection.

It is strange that it happens in both entries?

Any ideas for hellp?

Thanks a lot,
