Title: 48000 to 44100....how?
Post by: heyitsmejess on March 17, 2008, 10:23:28 AM
i have soundforge 8, and a file that was (mistakingly) recorded at 48000.

i know theres a way to go from 48 to 44.1, but ive not a clue how to do it.

i know this is digital 101, but its something ive not had to do yet, so any help is appreciated!

thanks in advance!

you ought to be able to 'resample' the file, once you open in in SF.

Go to the tabs at top>Process>Resample

At least that's how it is in my version 6

if all you need to do is resample, I would recommend using r8brain.  There's a free version, available here:
