I don't think I've ever seen a recording on etree or archive with Maudio mics... and I have wondered why... but I don't want to be the guy who buys them to find out.

See if they will send you a pair for review purposes.

i've tried in the past.
I know their older LD mics are regarded as a quality product.  I''ve heard that from several people who's opinions I trust.

I know I've read a couple positive reviews of the older LD mics but the m-audio build quality (of their other gear) doesn't encourage me. I know that they are related to digidesign now but...

I couldn't be the guy who goes there.
My Superlux are only barely passable anyway, I'd have to be making a clear step-up to buy new SD mics.
