Title: DAT transfers with macbook

so i just releazied that i don't have a way to transfer DATS.   I used to use a vx pocket v2 with my laptop. but since i am getting a mac book, i will have no way of transfering dats.  does the mac have a digital sound card?

The macbooks have optical s/pdif inputs via the analog 1/8" inputs on the side.  So, you'd have to convert digital formats and get the optical signal down to a mini jack.  Not even sure if the input is bit perfect or not.  Good luck...

I would suggest transferring DATs to your 722, and then copy the files to your mac via firewire.
