Hello there!
I've got to choose between Audacity or Adobe Audition to do this.
Which program would you suggest to join several flac files to one big flac file?
The reason why I'm doing this is because the taper did a horrible tracking job (cutting a song in between...)!
There shouldn't be any gaps or anything seamless transitions wanted 8)

what show? Tried contacting the taper yet?
Do you tape?

foobar 2000
add files, right click, convert - convert to single file, select flac-wav etc etc, then ok.

If they were wav files I use addawav or shntool join.

This is the long way, but it's how I do it.
Use Flac Frontend to convert the songs back into wav format. Then in Adobe Audition edit view, open and append each track. You'll end up with one big wav file to save. Then open that big wav file in CD WAVE and cut the tracks according to how you want. Save them, then use Flac Frontend to encode them to FLAC. Done.

wavmerge is the easiest imo. you have to convert to wave first. sounds like foobar is easy to just never used it to do that.
