Title: UA5 Hi-Z or Lo-Z w/ AT4041's?

SSIA. This is such a newb question, but which setting should I be using, and what consiquences would I suffer if I chose the wrong setting?

Pretty sure the HiZ/LoZ only effects the 1/4" inputs, not the XLRs...

You'll have to double check me on that...

Terry is right on. The High/Low Z is for musical instruments through the 1/4"
But do be sure to shut off the monitor switch. It creates a loop that degrades signal quality on analog outs
