Title: running my battery down - mics plugged in??

i am try9ing to just run my battery down and rain it for a recharge
if i actually have mics plugged into the recorder will it drain faster vs just having phantom turned on and no mics plugged in?

Will you burn more electricity when the light switch is on with the bulb plugged in or not?
