Title: Iriver-120; Red light emitting from line out

Was playing music from the Iriver into my reciever via line out, unplugged the cable and noticed a red light; like the light emitted from optical cables, just on and glowing from my line out jack.  what's going on here, went through settings (granted don't know what i'm looking for/the cause of this) just curious if anybody's run into this, and what the hell is going on-  thank you

That is exactly what that is.  The line-out doubles as an optical output.  Same with the line-in....

do i need to don my helmet and bib, because i've never noticed that before

There is a setting to enable/disable the optical in/output:
Settings ->  General Settings -->  Playback -->  Optical Output

That's what i needed, i was going through the settings and didn't know what i was looking for, just knew this hadn't happened before- glad i was worried for nothing.   thanks petur +T
