Title: Can I use the same cord & battery to power a 660 & 671?
Post by: Matt Quinn on April 09, 2008, 02:33:06 PM
Just wondering- I have a borrowed acm 660 I'm running tonight, and I was wondering if I could run it off the same 9v DVD battery & cord I normally use for my 671 instead of using AA batteries?

Any help is appreciated!

The 660 is looking for 5V DC external power.  The 671 wants 12V (but apparently you use yours successfully with a 9V DC source).  So I don't think you can run the 660 from the same power source as the 671.

Cool yeah, I saw that & that's why I didn't try it....just ran the 660 with AA's, worked fine as it was a pretty short show.

thanks!
