Title: Techflexing KC5's?
Post by: Matt Quinn on April 10, 2008, 11:42:51 AM
Anyone ever do it? How hard is it?

Really trying to tighten up my cable arrangement, 15' is a lotta cable to have curled up in the bag.

I ended up using this stuff: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=350-040 (http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=350-040) You will only need to purchase one roll. One roll will last you a lifetime.

It was recommended to me in this thread that I started regarding my Neumann active cables: http://taperssection.com/index.php/topic,94049.0.html (http://taperssection.com/index.php/topic,94049.0.html)

I now use the same stuff on my Schoeps KC5's. It works great and doesn't leave any residue on your cables.

I actually found that thread right after I started this one- looks like that is the way to go! Thanks a lot! +T
