Title: What's this Nak threadmount adapter called?
Post by: sunjan on April 11, 2008, 06:42:55 PM
Hi all,

I just picked up a pair of used Nak CM-100s. I don't know shit about handheld mics, but they came with these tiny tabletop tripods.

I don't know if they are any good for taping, probably not. But it annoys me that one of the tripods is missing one threadmount adapter.

It's the little round thing sitting on top, I don't even know what it's called, so I can't google for it. What's the proper name, and where can i pick up a spare one? The YS, Ebay?

Besides this, can you guys recommend any cheap starters stand for these mics? Ebay, I think someone mentioned Chinese no-name stands? I've got the mic handles, which means I need some kind of T-bar to screw them onto. I'm in Europe, so shipping a stand from the US might be expensive...

It's either a standard European 3/8" Whitworth mic. thread to the horrible American 5/8" thread.

Or it's a 1/4" camera thread adaptor (to the horrible American 5/8" thread).

(Sorry - I hate the American mic. thread).
