Title: wav header help needed

Hey. So I had a problem with WAV headers on my iRiver being messed up. I changed them in Audacity and exported. Now the files sound right, but when I go to import to a different DAW it is still reading the file as 88kHz or whatever it is (but they still sound right). And when I check the properties in windows, it still says its 88k... Is that how its supposed to be? That means that I'll have to down-sample...

you might try the script in the first post of this thread (download link at end of post) to see if it'll fix your header

OK, cool. However, now that I've gotten the program to work, when I look at properties now in Windows it says the bitrate is 1 and the sample rate is 0...
