Does anyone know if this unit has an optical in? I'm striking out on the interwebs.

One user here modded his JB1 for Flash memory use, which cures the lousy battery life.

Note that even after modding, your files will be split (seamless) after every 15 minutes, so you'll need to patch them up afterwards. Could work if you're on a shoestring budget!
