Title: opinions wants on MiniDV camcorders
Post by: willndmb on May 01, 2008, 09:54:19 PM
can anyone recommend me a decent "cheap" minidv camcorder (as usualy reviews on line are from one extreme to the other and basically unhelpful imo)
mostly home movies
some fairly dark recording of dancing/plays in high school auds

not really looking to spend more then $250ish otherwise i feel i should just make the jump to HD
thanks

Canon zr800  $179 or cheaper

because it is cheap, has mic plug, and good for the everyday video capture.

Canon has zr850 and up but if you just want good capture with added feature of mic the zr800 is really good.

I use dvx100b and canon xh-a1, along with HV20 canon.  But for the lets get this on tape now i really like the zr800.
