Title: Can a Rode NT5 mic be repaired?
Post by: SpunWagon on May 23, 2008, 10:09:10 PM
I have a set of Rode NT5's and sometimes one will barely have a signal with the preamp turned all the way up. Anyone had any issues like this or recomendations?

have you tested the preamp? or tried running the NT-5's with a different preamp?

If you had to send it back to be fixed, it would almost be worthwhile to just sell the one mic and buy another set. Maybe some Busmans.

Of course. The capsule is screw-on-screw-off and the board inside is repairable.

If you send it into Rode there is a high probability they will repair it for free.
