Title: turn down bass using Sound Studio on mac
Post by: shotyd on May 27, 2008, 07:45:50 PM
I tried to turn the bass down (messing with the eq), and it now has the clipping noise (guess it's not really a clipping noise, more like it creates a gap every 0.5 seconds)...how can I avoid this clipping noise/gap? ??? ???

I'm not sure where the "clipping" noise you describe is coming from, but you can try the following to reduce bass.

In Sound Studio, under "Filter," select "Hi pass filter" option.  For initial settings try frequency=300hz and steepness=100 samples.  See how that sounds, then take it from there.
