Title: LS-10 vs H2 on internals
Post by: Kevin T on June 04, 2008, 02:29:20 PM
Is it just me or are these 2 at the freq responce opposite poles in the current batch of SD recorders. The Olympus interests me but sounds boosted  on the highs and thin on the lows. This can sound good on some things like voice. The Zoom on the other hand is slightly muffled on top and full on the bottom. Any curves to prove what I'm hearing for various online samples

I'm very interested in this contrast as well, as the instrument I am planning on recording is the PANArt hang which has an interesting range of sound, from ringing high overtones to the low resonance of the whole instrument.
