Title: problems uploading to Dime
Post by: leehookem on June 09, 2008, 08:51:43 PM
I keep getting this message when I try to upload:

Upload action failed!

A checksum file (.md5, .ffp) was not found in your torrented data or it was too small for a valid checksum file. DIME requires you to include such a file to your torrented data. See FAQ.

The ffp is included in the description box as well as the info file.  Not sure what to do.

never mind.  I just included the ffp in the text file to make it larger.

You must have a separate file with the extension .md5 or .ffp included.  The ffp file can't have the extension .txt (I think).

That's exactly it!  I have hated that place for a long time until I found that files were going - band2008-06-10.ffp.txt with the .txt hidden and not the actual extension.  I gave up on uploading there for the longest time until just tonight, what irony.
