Title: Edirol R09 W/ PQI cards not working?
Post by: The Other Chris on June 10, 2008, 01:19:57 AM
Just got a pqI 4 gig SDHC card & my (virgin) R09 doesn't recognize it nor will it format.  It tried for about 30 mins w/o any luck.  From the FAQ here & on Edirol I don't see anywhere that it's not compatible but that seems besides the point.   Just looking for some feedback, will have to go w/ Sandisk or others it seems.  Thanks for any feedback.  CM

Well, my comment hardly helps, but I only use Sandisk or Kingston cards.
I've probably got a dozen of them - I've never had a problem.
Sorry you're having troubles.
Hope someone can offer some assistance.
:)

Use the SD card formatter on your PC.  If you still have issues, try writing to the card with your PC (like flac files or something with a file integrity checker).  Check the integrity of the files.  I bet you got a bunk card.
