New "registered" member, but have lurked a bit. Very knowledgable group of folks we have here!
One quick, may be stupid, question.....I am using a D-8 to transfer some DAT's to the hard drive. I have some old DAT's that I will be doing, and I am not sure if they were recorded at 44.1 or 48 khz. Shouldn't the deck display what it was taped at? Is there some other way to find out?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
-
the deck should, is it not?
-
Nope.
-
The D8 does not, as far as I know. Mine doesn't.
-
I am using Soundforge for my transfers. Can I find out through that?
-
really? I sold mine so I can't check but I thought it did.... I'll take your word for it!
-
Depends on what sound card you're using. Whatcha got?
-
hmmm, even my d3 displays the freq...try holding down the play button while it is playing.
