will they stay on?? Got any pics??
yes. no problem with the schoeps at least.
it seems like they might blow off of the caps. I've got some actives coming, and the only screens I have are the big shure's

they won't. just push them all the way down until they won't go any further, essentially covering the entire cap/collette
thanks +T
same w/ the 140's...the screens just eat the mic up so it basically is a set of screens with wires ;-) not going to fall or blow off....you'll see. enjoy.

yep, i've run them a few times now, and they worked great!
They work extremely well w/ the kwon bars and the mbho's :) They dont budge a 1/4" in some pretty big gusts and stay on for 16 hrs at festivals :)
Cant beat the big-ass shures IMO :)
What model Shure windscreens are you guys referring too? I need some beefy wind screens for my actives.

A81WS 8)
NOT
A51WS ;)
Sweet thanks guys!!
I just ran the A81WS on some Schoeps CMC64's this afternoon for a windy day on the water. Now wind sound; good high end. The A81WS is well-made and works. If you even think that wind will be a problem, these pups are a good idea.
Cheers
I always prefered the Shures over the stock screen/dead rat combo. Can anyone comment further on this? Is the stock/dead rat combo overkill? I think the Shures are much less of a high end killer.
I just got mine in the mail today and plan to give them a trial run this weekend.
