Title: 4 channel with different input devices?
Post by: jonohull on June 24, 2008, 07:52:05 PM
My group wants to record an album, and want to be able to edit and mix it properly. I have a UA-5, so is there a program that can use that and the line-in on the computer to make a 4-channel recording? Programs I've tried like Audacity can only select one input device at a time.

If you have a mac, you can do this through the audio menu... it's called an aggregate device.

No Mac here. I was trying out Samplitude, and it looks like it might do it. Anyone know how to set it up?
