AKG 414 stereo mic -> Sony TC-158 deck; MAC > [DAT?] > CDR (no intermediate cassette generations)

No. While there were a few LD stereo mics made by AKG, the 414s are not. You are looking at a source error, and may never know for sure.

maybe it was two 414s?

This is my bet too. AKG sells individual mics and they also sell a matched stereo pair. I would infer the lineage info to mean the latter - that a matched pair was used. Either that or a stereo mic was used and the lineage is just written wrong.

Thats what I figured thanks

It sort of depends on what exactly you mean by AKG414. There has been quite a few different microphones with that name.

The original (first) 414 did use the CK12 brass capsule, same as used in the famous C12 mic. There was a stereo version of that called C24 (using valves though, the 414 is solid state).

A later incarnation of "stereo 414" was the 422. Even later is the 426.
