Post by: mikesalvo on July 24, 2008, 07:52:05 PM
need anew batt. Mine doesnt really hold much of a charge when not plugged in. Thingking about buying a generic one off of ebay for like $60 shipped. New from Apple store in NYC they're $120. Anyone have any experience with any of these no name batts?

Yes - I bought a no-name for my wife's iBook a few years back and was happy with it. We only saved $15 or $20 at the time but for half-price it's definitely worth it!

well
I get most of my apple  peripherals
from OWC (Other World Computing)
the are solid and stand behind their gear

I have a
48mAh battery I got from them
Li-ion

has a larger mAh rating then the standard apple models
and works great
please follow conditioning requirements

my iBook loves it  ;)
