Error converting to FLAC, 'D:\file.wav' to 'D:\file.flac'
Error FLAC accepts only PCM audio source. [clEncoder::BeginConversion]
Getting this error with dbpoweramp, when trying to convert the wav files of a recording to flac!
It's recorded with Vivanco EM-216 microphones and a Sharp MD-MT180 MiniDisc Recorder!
The only thing I know from the guy who taped it, that it's probably due to an error while transferring from MD>PC...
Is it possible to solve this without transferring from MD>PC again?
Any idea on how to solve this problem?

Can you open the WAV file in an audio editor and then save it?
foobar2000 (foobar2000.org) does conversions very easily.

does not work again...

Go here:
http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html
Get the first one, if you are Windows, "FLAC for Windows with Installer"
It will make FLAC files, and it will decode FLAC files.
If your original files aren't wav, you need to find out what they are and use a transcoder, like Trader's Little Helper

If you post a short file, someone may be be able to look at it and see what the file header is to see if it is a wav or not:
