Title: ihome playback with radio interference?

I love my ihome. I use it as an alarm clock but I love to listen to my recordings on it from my ipod. But here is the thing... Whenever I listen to my ipod and turn my ihome on I can hear the radio faintly? Does anyone know why this might be?
