Title: Travel case for binaural set up - DPA 4060s,DPA MMA 6000, Sony PCM D50
Post by: Rade on September 01, 2008, 08:55:12 AM
Heya,

I've just completed my small recording set up and I'm interested in getting a good, road proof, light and practical travel case for the set up. I'm into cases with belt strap rather than shoulder straps.
Has anyone use the DPA MMA 6000 and PCM D50 on the road?
Any ideas, sugesstions or tips are more han welcome.
Thanks a bunch for reading this.

All the best,
Rade

Hi Rade,

Do you mean case as in aluminium case or brief case? I have a hard time visualizing this on a belt strap.
Or are you looking for a semi-soft, waist-strapped gear bag?

I keep 4060s, MMA6000, R-09, batts, cards and cables in a small nylon zippered shaving kit.  I can throw that little bag in a day pack, hang it on the stand, or put it in a waterproof/crushproof otter box for camping/canoeing trips etc.
