Title: Corrupted 24b/96Khz wave
Post by: lordbelial on September 01, 2008, 03:32:26 PM
Hi,

I was trying to dither with r8brain a 3 gig file (24/96) and, as I select the file, the following error message appears:

Error accessing selected file: WAV FILE "XXX.wav" is formed incorrect

I don't know if the problem is because...

a) File larger than 2 gb
b) Wave header is corrupted.

Any other people has experienced this problem before?

Thanks for the space.

Did you try to chop the 3GB file into 2 1.5GB files and retry? If you still get an error that would eliminate that the problem is a greater than 2GB file.

What program are you using to do this?

I've never been able to use r8brain on files larger than 2GB either.  Use CDWave and split it into two 1.5 GB files and everthing should be fine.
