XP's is real good as well for a free defrag. I have read somewhere <<<KB search hat on>>> that Microsoft made some new and really good optimizations to defrag in SP3.
For a defrag that you have to pay for I use O&O Defrag and have had great success with it since version 8.
Thanks fellas.
I'm on xp and decided to try powerdefrager.
ultradefrag... tis free methinks.
Thanks fellas a round o' + on me.

Sorry for my lateness to this thread, but I've had good results with Auslogics Disk Defrag (for XP & Vista) and it is free -> http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/disk-defrag/download (http://www.auslogics.com/en/software/disk-defrag/download). They also make a good, free registry defragger. Only caveat is that when the program finishes running and posts the defrag results, it's with an ad for another one of their programs. Not a big deal, but you should be aware of it.
