I want to try running 24 bit for the first time tonight, and according to the manual, the 671 should pick up the fact that the coax signal from my v3 is 24 bit- but it isn't. ANSR is OFF on the V3, sampling rate is 48k, but the 671 shows it is recording at 16/48 instead of 24/48.
Any help?
Thanks in advance!

you need to change the settings on the 671

set 671 to digi in, and set it to 24/48. personally, i would run analog into it from the v3, but thats me.

I tried that with my T+Ua5, and did not like the results at all. I will try it with the V3 at some point, but tonights show is a 'can't miss' for me.

well, i can understand getting pooey results running analog out of a ua5 since its not really analog out.
