Title: What's a good program for mixing a matrix??
Post by: yug du nord on October 12, 2008, 06:39:21 PM
Anybody want to chime in on what's a good, FREE program for mixing a four channel matrix?  I started using Cool Edit Pro 2.0, but it was only a trial version (although I do like it)...  and the trial period is now over...  so I either need to buy something...  or more preferrably find a FREE download.  Thanks!

Cool...  I've never tried Audacity...  I know it's pretty popular, but I guess I don't much about it...  time to check it out finally!

Thanks man!!!  +T

Reaper for Windows really is outstanding for the price.  The Mac version is seriously lagging at the moment, but is supposed to be caught up sometime in the near future.

TNJ - I did not realize there was a Mac requirement in the request.  I am on PC and do not much follow what is coming out of Cupertino.

Oooops!  You are right, it is not free.  My bad.  I think it costs $50, so that is pretty cheap and you can use it for 30 days no problem, then the nags start.
