Title: SPIDIF cable recomendations RCA > BNC
Post by: fozzy on November 04, 2008, 11:11:04 AM
Looking for a decent 75ohm spidif cable to get my playback back in action.  I will be going  audiophile 24/96(RCA) > Benchmark DAC1 (BNC).

Not sure how much you want to spend but the Stereovox HDXV or XV2 would be just the ticket.  Apparently it's a true 75 ohm cable and is BNC on each end with adapters to go to RCA.  The guy who designed it is the same guy who came up with the Kimber D60 which has always been a very well regarded digital cable.  A used HDXV should run you around $75.  I did try one of these on the DAC1 and it definitely did a great job.

looked into them on audiogon.  I think I am going to go the Blue dragon route w/ DB9 > BNC connectors
