I am trying to organize all my shows while school's out and I've got a question about ones that don't really have a source listed. This mainly applies to the Pink Floyd shows I have. Some say audience recording and others give no information at all. I'm pretty sure that Floyd did not allow taping of their shows, so I guess most were stealth recordings. What is the proper way to source these shows?

if you have a source that is previously unlisted, you dont wanna make one up unless youre 100% sure thats the source!!!
just label it w/ a couple of ?????'s.....

Thanks ;D So basically putting the ??? is better than putting something like unknown audience source if no source was previously listed?

unknown source would work, its just a lil easier to put(???) ;D

IMHO, if your collection exceeds 500 shows, start deleting unknown sources, unless you feel there's a surefire way to determine a source but just haven't gotten around to it.

Something along the lines of "Unknown Aud" is fine.

yeah if i don't know i just say unknown, try to give a grade to the quality of the source though for reference...if it sounds good and there aren't any problems with the recording, and if there aren't known sources, i'd say it's eligible for trade if somebody wants it.
