So i got my DMIC-20 and im having problems with levels. How should i use the dip switches? Right now i can't get a signal over -12. The dip switches are set 40-30 down on both channels. even with the sensitivity knobs all the way up i can't get past -12. Im looking for the -2 to 0 db range. How can i achieve this?
i know bean will come in soon
thanks
alex
What's the source your testing on? A stereo doesn't come near reproducing the SPL's of a concert in my experience...
i had my stereo cranked and i was snapping in the mics. I really just couldn't get the volume i wanted
i dont think your gonna have problems with levels, the home stereo even cranked all the way up wont match spl's in a loud venue, you'll be okay, whens your debut show for the dmic alex?
hopefully monday carbon leaf at the funkbox
is your pahntom power switch in the UP position???
if it IS, then let me know, hmmmmmm...when you snap, can you tell what channel is witch w/ headphones on???
bean
or you just might wanna crank thegain......live tho, very rarely will you need it past 40-45....i think thats the highest ive ever had it, usually run it at 35-40 or so...
