This news is about a month old, and not much info on them yet, but I haven't seen any discussion here.
Beyerdynamic is set to "release" the MC 910(omni) and MC 950('super-cardioid') microphones.

They claim availability in early 2009, but if the CK-930/950 series is any proof, these should be available in the next decade or so :P ::).

I'm not holding my breath, lol.
I would just be happy with the actives (cardioid). I don't need omni or hypers. For omnis, I'll use lav mics. Don't really need hypers :).

I'm interested in hearing how the hypers sound. Hopefully they'll sound like crap and I won't have the urge to buy them, but I'd really like a set of sd hypers. Heck, if there weren't already so many pairs of 483's in town I'd just buy those 463's in the ys now.
