Interesting new toy. ::)
Looks like SonicSense has one or at least a mock-up.
Has anyone actually tried one ? Got a price ?
What can we expect from the analog section and the A/D being a Fostex product ?

From a previous thread (the search function works wonders):
"Thanks to Phil, we have the dimentions of the Fostex FR-2. It is 240mmx100mmx210mm which is 9.6x4x8.4
The estimated price point $1500.00"

Well, I've worked with the PD-4 and the front end is pretty solid. A little brittle on the A>D, if they use the same chip it will be an AKM. Good solid stuff, though...

w/ those GB cards AND internal HD!!
I didn't find any information about an internal HD. What capacity is the drive?

Geez, I thought that I did search, mebbe I mishtyped it ?
But anyhow, what can we expect from the Fostex PreAmps and A/D ?
