I know this is a stupid question but I just want to make sure I have this right.
If I were to patch out of a 702/722/744 with my Tascam HD-P2 with a digital cable what BNC adapter would I need?
-
BNC-male | RCA female adapter + 75-ohm RCA-male | RCA-male cable

When I patch out of 722/744, I take the usually unoccupied CF slot, that is way easier. Not an option with the 702, though.......

Is there a list of known working CF cards and sizes in the 722? I know with my Marants 671, not all CF cards will work

This has been covered elsewhere, but I have never found a CF card of any brand or size that did NOT work on my 702. The 7xx boxes have a speed test so you can check CF cards (and external drives) to see if they are fast enough. As long as I don't try to jam data into a card faster than it can take, there is no problem. Maybe with a 744 recording 4 channels at 96/24 or 192/24 you'd need a fast card, but with my lowly 702 at 44/24 or 48/24, I can use any cheap card.

I only ask because I bought a 16gb A-Data card for my Marantz, and it could not be recognized by the device at all.
Thanks, I will dig a little more, I didnt see anything last time I looked
