the V67 is a really nice sounding mic, it's one of the few marshall mics that really sound nice.  for what it's worth, one of the marshall reps i've worked with told me that they tried to emulate the sound of the neumann U87 (as best they can in an inexpensive Chinese-made condenser).  it's a great deal for the price.  i'm not sure how well it would do with audience taping, but for quiet jazz stuff and drum overheads, it sounds pretty good.

$200!  Sounds like a pretty good deal.  You will not get Neumann.
