Finally ran the new rig last night...two questions....
Where can I find new elastic for the Schoeps shockmounts?
Also, what is the best way to get two full size microphones in the DIN configuration? After years of running the actives, I'm pretty much starting over at this point. My last partner in the Neumann rig bought a Kwon bar for the actives, and damn if it didn't improve the sound. So I'm also looking for suggestion on a T-bar.
Thanks!

what kind of mics u running?
I always found the Sure vert bar best for full bodies w/ a pair of shock mounts.

FWIW I also use the same vert bar. Williams mic paper stored somewhere on this board ahas a quick and dirty way to set up the DIN and ORTF rigs from a piece of 8.5x11 paper. Yup. Check it out.

The a27 shure vert bar? Hate it.
I like the akg link bar:

Too Clunky.
Vark bar, or the k&m/AKG bar where the mounts slide in and out to adjust spacing. Either get a riser or flip the fastener and run one over one under the bar.

Hey y'all, thanks for all the input!
I've actually owned both the Shure bar and the AKG bar at different times. I like the look of the Vark bar with the single Schoeps shockmount, and what I think I'm looking for is the walkthrough for the DIN and ORTF configs using the piece of paper. I'll have to search for that when I've got a minute.
The new rig right now is mk41/cmc6>v2>m1. I ran 90 degrees from the balcony of the Mcdonald Theater....it wasn't a bad first go around, but I know I can make much better pulls. The upper balcony was empty and I think the rear lobe picked up quite a bit of the back of the room. Next time I'll head to the floor, but they don't serve alcohol there....
Thanks again!

I like running a regular sized sabra bar with a 1\2" riser. Very easy to achieve DIN or any config.

Replacement elastics for Schoeps shock mounts (schoeck mounts?) are available from Schoeps dealers or from the U.S. distributor, Redding Audio.
