Title: Newbie battery pack question.....
Post by: sleepy_monkey on December 31, 2008, 01:03:19 PM
Where is the best place to get a battery pack for live recording?  I don't need much...probably not more than 4-5 hours...and don't need anything mega expensive as my rig is pretty modest.  Thanks for the help!!

Please, don't be more specific. You're overwhelming us with information.  ;D

:o  Didn't realize there was that much battery info here.

All I am running is a Micro BR with a small board for phantom power...that is all that requires actual power...I have seen tapers with battery packs in their bags...but I have no idea where to find those and I know nothing about them...thanks for that link though.

What Rasta was getting at is that you need to specify what power your rig requires...that would include what voltage do you need and what is the current draw?

Also, what is a micro BR?  I'm not sure what that is so does it require a special power pack or can it be connected via an external cable with a connector that fits your device.  Things like this.  The more specifics you provide, the better answer you will get to your question.

Nobody can help you if they have to guess about what you're asking.
