Finally I got some time to visit the audio suites. The sound was incredible and all the manufactures were showing the "affordable" gear.
In order of sound quality: VSA/Moscode, BelCanto, Rega, Manley. CJ had a static display which was disappointing. The VSA/Moscode demo was incredibly clean sounding and pure. Same for the Rega - on playback was the P7. Manley was a beautiful display but sounded a little congested with all that was going on in the room. I think that the speakers were too much for the room - the Rega and VSA setups were much smaller speakers.
I wanted to hit a few other displays but there was very little time. The experience has me fired up to try some gear swaps now, probably away from the CJ gear toward some different pieces like Cary and BelCanto. The Moscode amp was incredible but even with an industry price it's not in current budget to get that monster.

Did you check out any Naim gear?
-
No, I was working the show so it was just an accident that I wasn't scheduled for Sunday morning. I had about 90 minutes to hit as many suites as I could.

Word on the street is that Naim is releasing a DAC in a couple of months that demoed at the show. I wish you would have heard it because their is so much speculation on the Naim forum about it.
