Here it is, the AKG actives showdown!  The custom JK Labs system vs. AKG's ck_x system.  Both were on the same stand and run into a Busman 4 channel T-Mod R-4 at 24/48.

Being a total slut, and being in the right place at the right time, I ended up with both systems.  Knowing that I can really only keep one, I figured the Wood Brothers show would be a great opportunity to stage the showdown and decide which way I am gonna go.  This is the first staight comp that I have run.  Great situation to try them out together.  The Tupelo Music Hall is a very nice sounding venue that typically attracts a "polite" crowd.  So far it's a real toss up between the two.  I think I will need to run a few more comps to know for sure which way I am gonna wanna go.

Need to listen, but does the mk46 work with 480 bodies?
