Not me. I also wondered about that thing years ago, but never found much on it. I imagine it's built from two inexpensive cardioids placed back to back with the polarity inverted on one of them, in that small housing. I have a hard time imagining that it sounds great, but I'd love to be surprised.
I'd like to play around with an inexpensive, tiny figure 8 if it sounded decent.

I still have two Sony ECM909 MS stereo mics around here. They have two capsules, apparently without built-in FETs, one that looks like a cardiod pointing forward and some sort of fig-8 looking sideways. They sound OK but they're very low output and far too noisy for anything serious. Maybe I'll get around to try them with better electronics, one day. I was thinking about using the two cardiod capsules and one of the fig-8 for a very compact double-MS arrangement.

The one I've seen on ebay.de sold for slightly over 200 euros. Second-hand, that is.
