This happened a few times during the show.
There was a table full of early twenties pseudo hippie types  right next to my rig.
They were taking pics and texting them with their cell phones. One of them also HAD to make a call.
At the time I thought what a bunch of tools, now I am feeling a little worse :angry2:

I just recorded a 2 day seminar with my new R-09 Micsketeer and I got cell phone noise a number of times. I'm just glad it's (so far) never happened to me when I was recording music.

Yeah it sucks.
Did yours sound like mine?

I was doing some "under cover" seminar taping, that someone call me as i was doing (which is odd sice only two people have that number and they were with me) i got the same sound.

I found mine matched one of these but to a lesser degree.

newplanet7- Some of the noise I got sounded like yours but it usually was a lot worse. That's because the lecture was lower volume level than music, so when I boosted the volume of the lecture the cell phone noise got boosted a lot too. I tried to get rid of the noise with Adobe Adition's noise reducers, but couldn't find a setting that didn't make the lecturer's voice sound horrible.
