I have some wierdness going on with a 24b upload(files failing when they are fine), have they fixed the prob yet?? Can we use current versions of FLac??
-
as far as I know they still haven't fixed it. so you can't use the newest version of flac. b/c of this I have a shit ton of 24 bit stuff just collecting dust.

craptastic :banging head:. I guess I get to redo my fileset :(. I'm using TLH, so I guess they are using a newer version of flac? Does anyone know the latest working version for use with LMA??
-
my last TLH install shows they are using version 1.2.1. I up'd some DTB 24/96 not too long ago and they are fine and I used TLH

next OS server upgrade of ubuntu will have the latest version of flac support in it.
as of now, 1.1.4 is still as high as it is supported. I have seen some 24-bit files though passing with 1.2.0 though. I'm not sure if those were flukes or what.
sorry about the delay. the engineers know about it and it's just what it is for now unfortunately.

thanks for the info. my TLH says it's using 1.2.1 so that must be why. I'll just have to dither to 16b and re-up i guess.

...or you can go directly to the FLAC site and download the older version and work exclusively with version 1.1.4 until the fix comes out on LMA. That's what I do and I have no problems either 16 or 24 bit files passing integrity checks.

thanks for that info.
