Title: Another attenuator thread
Post by: towanda on February 15, 2009, 02:56:18 AM
i'm running mk4 > nbox+ (fixed +20db gain) > r-09.

i taped a show a few weeks ago where i ended up running 4/30 in on the r-09 due to the ludness of the show. i have a gig coming up that i expect to be as loud if not louder. i'm currently contemplating either the Core Sound Attenuator Cable (http://www.core-sound.com/attenuator-cables/1.php) or the MicroTrack 10dB Pad - Passive In-line 10dB Pad for the MicroTrack 24/96 (http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/MicroTrack10dBPad.html).

peoples thoughts on these, or any other option?

I used one of these when i ran that same setup:

worked cool for me.... or upgrade to the R09hr where you can really adjust the gain
