Title: Material for building your own microphone windscreen?
Post by: colargol on February 18, 2009, 06:42:17 AM
Hi!

I am getting some new microphones, and I am planning to build my own windscreens for stealthing purposes.
Does anyone have advice concerning what material to build them from, and where to get such material?
Of course, it needs to be material that does a decent job of protecting against the wind while not having a very noticeable negative effect on the sound quality...

Any help appreciated

you can always just trim down a schoeps B5 or go with the B1 dust screen. get them both here: http://www.turneraudio.com/index.asp?PageAction=MFGSEARCH&ManfID=31&Page=1
