There's a webcast of a SxSW concert at midnite CST tonite that I'd like to record. How can I do this, short of setting up my mind in front of my computer speakers and blasting the wife out of bed?

fastest? Headphone out>mini>zoom

I tried that going line-in on H2 and got nothing but silence. I may just have to piss the wife off and do it by setting the H2 in front of the computer speakers (decent Bostons) and crank it up a bit, capturing it with the H2's internals. Hey, what's the worst she could do? ^-^

Check the volume icon in the lower right of the screen and make sure everything is turned up. It should work. ??? I've done it before. Or you can use the speakers mini out on the back if you have that. Other option is to get a nice soundcard with all the ins and outs you'll ever need. ;D

Man, still gettin' nothing. I'm just gonna nab it with the H2's internals when the moment arrives. I tried it out on the Heartless Bastards who are playing now, and its alright I guess.

If you're trying to get the Decemberists show...I'm fairly certain someone else will do it, and torrent it tomorrow.
I can't see why taking the same out from your soundcard to speakers wouldn't work. If the speakers can play it, your recorder (if it has a line in) can record it.

Avett Brothers for me ;D . Heartless Bastards sound DAMN good by the way, I've never heard them "live"

Yeah...I've seen the Heartless Bastards before. They have gotten a lot better.
Good luck with your recording. I'd do it, but my new soundcard is pretty complicated and I can't figure out how to record it. In the past I could just record webcasts with WaveLab.
